After over a year of working on it, I'm beyond thrilled to finally pronounce our Master Bathroom makeover 100% finished! I've been working really hard to get the last details wrapped up and get the space photographed so I could share it with you before we step into the holiday season. I can't tell you how pleased I am and proud of how our green, blue and white Master Bathroom turned out! (All available sources are listed at the end, and don't miss the fun video recap of the entire reno process close to the end of the post too!)...

I knew that I wanted a pagoda style cornice and found a few inspiration images on Pinterest , but no tutorials on how to make one. So, I got my creative wheels spinning and figured it out! Today I'll share with you how I made my pagoda style window cornices, it's not too difficult of a project! ...

ONE ROOM CHALLENGE: MASTER BATHROOM- WALLS, CABINETS, AND PAINT {WEEKS 5-6}
Hello everyone, did you think I forgot about you? I didn't! I literally have been so busy working on the room that I haven't had the time to sit down and put a post together. Especially this one, it's a doozy and big catch up since we missed posting an update last week. In light of the turmoil happening nationwide during the week that Week 5 updates were due to be posted, the One Room Challenge organizers decided to cancel that week so that everyone could focus on the more important issues at hand of racial equality and justice. I for one as well as likely most of you have started to have our eyes opened about the racial injustice that is alive and well in our country. I shared my thoughts here and here , but in a nutshell fully believe that the change we need in our nation begins in MY heart and in your heart, spreads to us influencing and teaching those in our own home, and then we can work together to change our communities. Jesus is the on......

ONE ROOM CHALLENGE: MASTER BATHROOM- DEMO! {WEEK 3}
Thank you all for sharing my excitement after seeing the design plan for my Master Bath makeover last week. I'm so excited to see it all come to life! I also appreciate your input about the chandelier and the rug situation. I'm now certain that the chandelier will be centered in the room but am still undecided on a rug. I love the idea of one large rug in the center, but not sure that I want to just cover up all of pretty new tile we put in. I know something will work out in time... If my amazing photos in today's post (ha, right!) caught your attention in the guest participant link up and you're visiting for the first time today, I'm so glad you're here! Catch up on what you've missed here: Week 1- Before Photos Week 2- Design Plan Moving on to this week's One Room Challenge update- I have absolutely nothing pretty to show you! But in this scenario, progress itself is beautiful, right? So without further adieu... IT'S #D......

ONE ROOM CHALLENGE: MASTER BATHROOM- BEFORE PHOTOS {WEEK 1}
Here we go again... it's been years since I've participated in a One Room Challenge Project . I think it's taken me that long to recover and get psyched up to take on another project with a deadline! And obviously, if you followed along with me through the Kids' Bathroom Makeover that started last Fall and didn't wrap up until earlier this Spring, it's clear that I need a deadline to finish a big project in a timely manner. In the past I've participated three times, 5 years ago with our Master Bedroom , 4 years ago with our Powder Bath , and 2 years ago with my daughter's room . This time, I'm so excited to be renovating our Master Bathroom. You'll see, it's a project that is way, way, way overdue! Master Bedroom ORC (more recent bedroom refresh post here ) ...

VANITY BENCH MAKEOVER
Hey everyone! How was your weekend? I sweated while I worked on "fall-i-fying" my porch and patio (Oklahoma hasn't read the memo that it's Fall yet), and am spending today trying to wrap up the rest of the house. In the midst of cozying things up and spreading pumpkins around, I had time to squeeze in a quick furniture project too. This project came out of necessity, sooner than I planned. My Mom gave me this old bench several years ago. It's been in the attic patiently waiting for our bathroom reno (that's still not happening yet). Even though there's a cubby for a bench in my bathroom cabinet, I don't usually sit down to do my make-up, so I wasn't really missing anything. Until, my girl started getting too tall for me to reach her hair to fix it (as I type that through tears...). After she spent several hair-fixing sessions sitting on the side of the tub, it dawned on me that I needed to pull this stool out and use it! Here it i......

A PRETTY BOTTLE OF... MOUTHWASH???
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Listerine . All opinions are 100% mine. It may not make sense why I'm posting about mouthwash on a primarily decorating blog, but with a bottle is this cute, how could I refuse? Chevron, blue, green...just a few of my favorite things making an everyday necessity a little more fun! As of July 13, Target started carrying this exclusive new design packaging for Listerine bottles in 4 refreshing flavors... Cool Mint, Fresh Mint, Arctic Mint, and Fresh Citrus. I'm using the Arctic Mint, and loving the taste. It's strong enough that I know it's working, yet it's not so powerful that my mouth feels like it's on fire. ;) As of this week, we have a braces-wearing-kid, and I'm looking for every tool possible to make it easier for him to keep his teeth and gums healthy. It's reassuring to know that with Listerine I'm choosing the #1 brand recommended by dentists! Speaking of the kid......

Moen Boardwalk Faucet
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Moen, Incorporated for SocialSpark . All opinions are 100% mine. Does your bathroom need a facelift? Even if you don't have the time, skills, or money for a complete overhaul, sometimes even one simple change can make a world of difference. Recently the kind folks at Moen offered for me to review one of their faucets from the " Boardwalk" line . Well, after taking a look at this beauty, it took about two seconds for me to say "Yes, please!". The Boardwalk faucet is available in the traditional two handle version, or this single handle faucet. I much prefer single handles in the bathroom. They seem to make it easier to get just the right temperature, and they are easier to clean! We took some time a few days ago to install the faucet in my sister's master bathroom. She's been a homeowner for a little over a year, and she and her new husband have been working hard to update the home and make ......
