WHAT I WORE LATELY || CLOSET CHRONICLES {2}

Thank you for your positive responses a couple of weeks ago on my first Closet Chronicles post !  So, let's keep going!  Here's what I've been wearing lately... I've found several Amazon tops this summer that are winners!  The exaggerated ruffle sleeves on this one are fun and the fabric is light and comfortable. I was drawn to this pink and red color combo but there are a lot of different options that make it hard to choose.   Pink Blouse - sz. WALMART HOME MARKDOWN AND CLEARANCE DEALS WE USED FOR EMILY'S APARTMENT

I've made a couple of trips to help Emily get settled in at her new apartment in Dallas over the past month.  As I was arranging and fluffing the other day, I realized that we used a lot of home items from Walmart!  I was going to share a thing or two in my last FFF post , but when I realized how many there were I decided they needed their own post.  The best part is, they are all either marked down or on clearance!  I'm working on a post for later this week to show how we decorated her room, but you'll get a few sneak peeks as I share these items today.   OK I might have picked up  this striped planter  for me while I was shopping for her... I noticed these darling striped planters at the beginning of the season and thought they were adorable. The price was a bit high for me then but now they are marked down (even though the price doesn't specifically say "rollback" or "clearance", they are now less than the original price was earlier this year.......

FIVE FRIDAY FAVORITES

I hope you're having a great weekend!  Here's this week's Five Friday Favorites.  1) This new hot pink/tan color combo of  New Balance sneakers - I'm a fan!  I have this same shoe in black and white already, this color combo is so fun!  I love the bright pink but the tan in the mix will help them transition into Fall well, and the lighter blush color is super cute too!  These are comfortable for all day wear for running errands, travel, or whatever!  Multiple color options, click product photo for different retailer options.  JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. One remote works on multiple outlets, you just have to remember which outlet goes with which button on the remote- ha!  It's super handy for the lamps on the mantle which are tall and too hard to reach the switch easily, and they are especially useful at Christmas......
