MY AMAZON 2026 BIG SPRING SALE PICKS

It's Amazon Big Spring Sale time!  I don't know about you, but I've noticed that the sales aren't as abundant and frequent on Amazon as they used to be and of course prices are up, so I've been waiting for this sale for some things I've had in my cart!  I have an Amazon Shop where I save all of my favorite purchases- probably 98% of what's in my shop is what I actually own and recommend, I don't just load it up with random products.  To save you time, I've combed through my entire shop and picked out just the items that are included in the sale and combined them all in the "My 2026 Big Spring Sale Picks" category.  Also, the deals will change over the period of the sale, so I'll keep that folder updated with other items that might go on sale in a day or two. FIVE FRIDAY FAVORITES

Happy first Friday of October!  Still waiting for cooler weather in Oklahoma but otherwise ready for all things Fall!  Emily and one of her roommates passed through town today headed south to meet up with some of her friends that she made while interning this summer.  They go to Texas A&M so she'll be getting to experience all of that hoopla and a game at Kyle Field.  We grabbed lunch together with my Mom so that was fun to visit for a minute.  Otherwise I have weekend plans of finishing up some Fall decor inside the house (even though it doesn't feel like Fall), spending time with some old friends, trying to squeeze in a quick project, playing catch-up on chores and making plans for an upcoming trip.  Do you have any fun plans?  OK, let's get to those favorites for this week!  Carmel and I have been "blog friends" for years, and I'm so excited for her as she has written her first book!   Her homes have been such an inspiration to me ove......

ENTRY TABLE STYLING WITH STRIPED PLEATED LAMPSHADES

I'll start pulling out some Fall decor this week and next, but I recently fluffed up my foyer a bit with some new entry table styling and wanted to share with you before the pumpkins come out.  I shopped my house for the most part except for the one thing that made a huge difference... new striped pleated lamp shades!  All through the Summer I've had white lamps and accessories on the dresser, but when thinking about transitioning to Fall I wanted to warm it up a bit.  I haven't had my Tobacco Leaf lamps out in a white so I was ready to use those again.  Here they are as I've always used them- But I recently came across these striped shades and thought they might be perfect to mix with the lamps instead of the white shades!  I'm totally on board with the patterned, pleated shade trend but have not incorporated any into my home yet.  I absolutely love these mixed with my lamps!  It just transforms the entire look.    Green Striped Lampshade ......

WEEKEND SALES TOO GOOD NOT TO SHARE!
