All through the Summer I've had white lamps and accessories on the dresser, but when thinking about transitioning to Fall I wanted to warm it up a bit. I haven't had my Tobacco Leaf lamps out in a white so I was ready to use those again. Here they are as I've always used them-
But I recently came across these striped shades and thought they might be perfect to mix with the lamps instead of the white shades! I'm totally on board with the patterned, pleated shade trend but have not incorporated any into my home yet. I absolutely love these mixed with my lamps! It just transforms the entire look.

A few weeks ago I stumbled on some metal pagoda lanterns at Dillards with their summer clearance selections. They were part of the Southern Living collection and came in multiple sizes and colors. Apologies that they were not listed online and I can't link, but if you have a local store you might still be able to find some! The wicker pagoda lantern is also Southern Living, but from the Christmas collection last year. I actually saw a smaller version of the wicker one with the summer collection too, so those might still be around as well. I got two of these little light blue cuties and 2 larger white ones. I'm thinking I'll incorporate them in to my Fall decor somehow! Similar lanterns are hard to find online but there's a beautiful selection here and a few here.
What do you think? Do you have any pleated or patterned shades in your home? It's actually such a traditional, classic style- what's old is new again, right? I'm thinking of trying a little DIY project with some smaller shades too, stay tuned!

I did some looking around online and found a few more pleated patterned shade options. Several of these are available in different colors and some are currently sale priced. Also included are some darling mini shades that would liven up a chandelier, sconces, or small lamp. (FYI- Some of these are spider harp fitted and some are uno socket fitted-no harp needed. Just something to pay attention to if you're shopping!)
