UPDATED BLUE AND WHITE CURTAINS AND DRAPERY FABRIC SOURCES

When I share any photos that show my blue and white curtains, I'm often asked for sources.  I made all of my drapery myself, so I don't have exact sources to share.  I have shared fabric names and similar ready made drapery options in the past, several years ago I wrote a post sharing all of the information.   However, availability has changed since then and I wanted to update that post to be able to share some current sources.  So, here's my updated blue and white curtains source guide!  I'll start by saying that most of the fabric I used seems to have since been discontinued, or difficult to find in a web search.  If you have access to decorator fabric warehouses these exact prints might still be found in those or local shops.  I'll share the fabric info. again so it's accessible if you're searching and I've included some similar fabrics that are available online below.   The fabric I used in the Living Room and Breakfast Nook is a Vern Yip......

VALENTINE'S DAY 2025 DECORATIONS AROUND OUR HOME

As I mentioned in my last post , using red, white, and pink for Valentine's Day is right up my decorating alley! This year I kept the Valentine's decor on the simple side and focused on just a few spots in our living areas.  I'll start in our Entry which is always one of my favorite spots to sprinkle in some holiday or seasonal fun.  I had a few packs of paper heart doilies from the dollar store and just lined them up in a pattern on the mirror! (Looped masking tape on the back does the trick.) Other than that, I gathered a couple of busts and you know I always have to embellish them a bit... and I can't resist throwing some disco balls in the mix too.  I ordered these tulips the other day when I didn't want to run to Trader Joe's for fresh... they were on my porch when I woke up the next morning and are SO realistic at about the same cost of a real bouquet! I separated the petals on a few of them for an even more life-like look.  Highly recommend! As much as ......

VALENTINE'S DAY FINDS FOR YOUR HOME, YOUR STYLE, AND YOUR TABLE

As far as holiday colors go, Valentine's Day is right up my alley!  Give me allll of the red and pink!  I've been decorating a few spots here and there around the house that I'll share with you tomorrow, but as I've searched I've come across so many cute Valentine's Day finds for your home, your style, and your table that I thought you'd love too!   I've had these puffy gold metal hearts (set of three various sizes) for several years and love finding fun spots for them.  And puffy hearts are SO popular right now, they're great to have out even past 🩷 Day! SOME OF MY FAVORITE CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS- A ROUND-UP!

I know many of you wait to decorate for Christmas until after Thanksgiving, but if you wait until after Thanksgiving to shop for decor (or until I get around to decorating and sharing this year's tour with you),  you'll likely find most of the best stuff sold out!  My tree isn't out yet, but that doesn't mean I don't have a stash of new things in the garage ready and waiting to decorate with!  Today I've rounded up some of my favorite Christmas decorations that I'm frequently asked to source.  Often the same seasonal things aren't readily available from year to year, but I was pleased to find many things that I've bought and used in the past few years available once again this year, so I thought you might appreciate me sharing those with you!    Last Year's Christmas Living Room Tour Some of my favorite pieces in recent years have come from the Packed Party for Walmart line, and I was pleased to see that many pieces I have are available once agai......

THANK YOU, AN UPDATE, AND PRETTY VIBURNUM PHOTOS

Happy Monday!  This week is a busy one, lots of appointments on the front end, taking my daughter shopping for some "professional" workwear outfits for some upcoming events she has, and 3 days of graduation festivities for my son at the end of the week!  Buckling my seatbelt and putting on my running shoes, it's going to be a doozy!  Today I just wanted to share a round up of pretty pictures I took around the house after I trimmed (whacked?) my viburnum bush and assembled 5 large bouquets.  They never last long but I sure do enjoy those fluffy blooms for a few days while I have them.   Several years ago I bought a couple of one gallon viburnum pots.  While they were small I planted them both in the bed around the side of the house intending to transplant one when they got larger.  They have a pretty fast growth rate and I never got around to moving one yet, I need to do that for sure this Fall!  I love to watch their bloom progression.  ......
