Well hello there friends!! It doesn't seem like it, but it's been a little over a month since I've been with you here! We had a nice holiday season and have been getting back into the swing of normal life. It's a fun time to be back... we get to talk about all of the Valentine-y things! My porch looked pretty sad and empty for a week or two after I cleared out all of the Christmas, but I spent some time here and there the past few days working on it so now it's a happy little Valentine's Day Porch- I've had some unfinished wood craft hearts in my holiday stash for a couple of years, and decided that now was the time to use one of them for a cute DIY heart door hanger. It was an easy, fairly quick project and I'm so pleased with how it turned out! I'll share a simple tutorial below. Supplies I used: Craft Wood Heart , Flag Red , Pink Eraser , and Metallic Gold Craft Paint, Circle Template (I used a mason jar lid), Gloss Sealer ......

2024 CHRISTMAS HOME TOUR || FRONT PORCH
Hello friends! I've been a busy little bee over here decorating for days... and I'm still working on it! I'm pretty slow... I get caught up in all of the details and just do a little at a time in between the rest of life! Every year I intend to be done early and here were are on December 11 and I'm still working to finish up... but I do have some spaces ready to start sharing with you, so enjoys today's tour of our Christmas Front Porch! Although I'm sure I'm too late in sharing to give you any inspiration for this year, I hope you'll pin some ideas from this post that you can use next year as you decorate. I switched out some of the bows, make some minor tweaks to the wreath and styling but I just love this look! It was also a huge bonus to pull it out of the tub already mostly assembled and not have to st......

PINK, ORANGE, BLACK AND WHITE FALL FRONT PORCH 2024
Hello everyone! I'm sure you're seeing plenty of Christmas content elsewhere since Halloween is over, but I've finally got my Fall front porch ready to share with you today! It's got similar components to what I've used in the past, and I once again used a pink and orange color scheme but to me it has a different, more whimsical feel this year. I've had these faux stacked pumpkins for several years, but haven't really used them the past few years on the porch- I didn't like something about the colors but couldn't put my finger on what needed to change. I thought I would fully repaint them, but once I really thought about it I realized the black stripes on the orange pumpkin were the main thing bothering me. So, I just painted over those with pink and added a few orange polka dots to the top pumpkin to carry the orange through. Love them now! (See a video of my makeover here .)
