UPDATED BLUE AND WHITE CURTAINS AND DRAPERY FABRIC SOURCES

When I share any photos that show my blue and white curtains, I'm often asked for sources.  I made all of my drapery myself, so I don't have exact sources to share.  I have shared fabric names and similar ready made drapery options in the past, several years ago I wrote a post sharing all of the information.   However, availability has changed since then and I wanted to update that post to be able to share some current sources.  So, here's my updated blue and white curtains source guide!  I'll start by saying that most of the fabric I used seems to have since been discontinued, or difficult to find in a web search.  If you have access to decorator fabric warehouses these exact prints might still be found in those or local shops.  I'll share the fabric info. again so it's accessible if you're searching and I've included some similar fabrics that are available online below.   The fabric I used in the Living Room and Breakfast Nook is a Vern Yip......

2024 CHRISTMAS HOME TOUR || LIVING ROOM AND CHRISTMAS TREE

Merry Christmas, friends!  I'm so happy to be sharing this year's Christmas Living Room and Christmas Tree tour with you today.  Are you still hustling and bustling?  If so, I'm right there with you! We'll start with the first of our Christmas celebrations tomorrow and continue through the week with various family gatherings. I hope even in the midst of the busy-ness you're able to have some quiet moments here and there to truly enjoy the season and reflect on our Savior's birth.  I always say we're celebrating the biggest birthday of them all, so I want my Christmas home to reflect the happiness and cheer of the good news that Jesus is born! Today's tour almost didn't happen and I apologize for the lateness of the post.  I intended to be sharing this with you last week but has some technical difficulties!  I told you that I worked to get all of my photos taken before we left on a short little Christmas trip.  I intended finish up my editing and post......

NEW PINK CHAIRS (AGAIN!)

NEW PINK CHAIRS (AGAIN!)

I've got a curve ball for you today that I haven't shared yet...  I sold my hot pink chairs!   I know, I know.  I loved my hot pink club chairs.  You loved my hot pink club chairs.  We just decided we wanted a different style of chair.  The club chairs were pretty wide and deep and took up a lot of room, and we were interested in some swivel/glider chairs instead.   I looked to purchase new, but couldn't find anything I really liked and new furniture is SO expensive.  I kept an eye on FB Marketplace and came across these- Aside from the fabric reminding me of the olive green velvet striped couch my family had growing up, they were in great shape and made by CR Laine, a quality brand that was much more high end than the new ones I was looking at in furniture stores!  We scooped them up and moved them in just to try out for a few days to make sure we liked them before going to the trouble of recovering them.   Then, they sat......

2023 CHRISTMAS HOME TOUR || CHRISTMAS TREE AND LIVING ROOM

Hello friends, welcome to Part 3 of this year's Christmas home tour- my Christmas Tree and Living Room! (Click here for Part 1 and Part 2 if you missed them.)  I continued to concentrate on red, pink and green accents where I could, but I can't help but have lots of other colors in the mix as well.  I know I'm coming in under the wire sharing these tours with you so late this year but I've had personal commitments that have put this on the back burner.  So, I hope you'll enjoy just soaking it in this year even though it's too late to give you any ideas for your decorations this year, but considering pinning and saving what you might want to remember for next year!  I'm not going to comment much, there are a lot of photos so just enjoy scrolling!   I brought the green mirror back in that I haven't used in the past few years-  It actually paired with an old dresser that we bought years ago at a yard sale but after painting it green I've always liked ......
