GIRLS PENSACOLA BEACH TRIP AND MY SWIMSUIT FAVORITES

Hello friends, Happy August!  It's already flying by... we are squeezing in a family vacation soon before Emily goes back to school for her Senior year, unbelievable!  This is our first vacay with our new daughter-in-law and we are excited about taking her to our favorite place and showing her around.  Emily and I returned a few days ago from a girls beach trip with our dear friends.  We love traveling with these two and it's been a few years since we've had a trip all together, we had a blast!  I'll share a bit about the trip and where we stayed, as well as some new swimsuits that Emily and I got this season along with a few older favorites that I still wear often.   We went to gorgeous Pensacola Beach, an easy flight from OKC.  We are used to driving to the beach so packing (we did carry-ons only!) took some thought, and we had to get a few beach things and food there that we normally would have taken with us in the car.  But it worked out......

AMAZON PRIME DAY PICKS THAT I'VE BOUGHT AND LOVE!

It's Amazon Prime Day today and tomorrow, and there are some good deals to be found!  I went through my purchases from the past year or two and selected all of the things that are marked down for Prime Day that I thought you might like too.  Several of these are things I haven't had a chance to share with you in other posts, just know if it's here I've found it useful, love and recommend!  Maybe you can get a jump on your Christmas shopping today, I know I am! (Aside note update:  I wanted to mention this because a few weeks ago I shared with you all that we had an upcoming trip to Israel.  We were supposed to leave yesterday morning.  As I know many of you are as well, we are heartsick over all that is happening and praying Psalm 122 for peace and protection over innocent civilians.) HOME DEALS I used these bulk packs of satin table runners last year at Christmas for allllll the bows (not shown but I used some for fabulous bows on gifts, too!) and the fla......

OUR VISIT TO KRAKOW, POLAND

Hello hello!  It's been a minute and my blog posts have been pretty sporadic for a while, but starting today I'm back to a more frequent posting schedule!  The Summer and this season up until this point were exceptionally busy, which I'm starting to realize is never going to change.  I'm finally coming to terms with the fact that things will never actually slow down after that next holiday, trip, event, .... fill in the blank.  The next big thing will always be right around the corner, which I'm sure most of you can relate to! But, it's time to move the blog off of the back burner! I have so many things stored up to share with you and we've already got the holidays in sight, so buckle up and get ready to see me in your inbox several times per week. ( Are you a subscriber?   I sure hope so!)   If you're a fairly regular reader you might notice things look a little different around here!  Another reason for my absence- I've been working with a tech ......
