Hey there, happy September! I'm kicking off the month by sharing another round of what I wore lately. I had hoped to start dressing for Fall by now but alas... we've surpassed 30 days at or above 100 and nothing under 100 in the 10 day OKC forecast, sigh. So, comfortable, cool clothing is still on heavy repeat here! I will say, I've got several loose, flowy tops in the mix today that are under $20 and fabulous! And know that everything I'm sharing today comes in multiple color options and combos, so if you like the style but would like to check out what else is available be sure to do that.
This cute top with contrasting colored ruffle trim was so fun to wear- ALERT it's 12.99 currently! It's true to size and I just loved everything about it. I mentioned in the last post but I have a new brand of jeans that jumped right to the top of my list of favorites (several brands are there but this one definitely earned it's spot!) It's a mid-level price point but I've found deals on several of my pairs here and also here. Their site is also having a Labor Day Sale with some good discounts. In the styles I've bought I always prefer the smaller of the two sizes I go between.

This darling top actually shocked me with how good it was! I had very low expectations due to the price but took a chance anyway and love it! TTS- a M was still plenty roomy for me. These are my other favorite jeans I've shared with you for years... super affordable and the rise, stretch content, and cut is perfect for me. I have them in multiple lengths and cut the hem myself on some of them for a cropped fit.

These winter white pull on pants were a big win for me! The fabric is easy to wear, there's a slim elastic waist that isn't bulky and they have pockets. They look more flared in this photo than they are for some reason, you can get a better look at them in another outfit below. I'm planning to grab the black pair too! They run true to size for a loose fit, I'm in a M. (Everything else I'm wearing is old and not linkable.)
If you're on social media at all you might have heard that there's a new brand out at Walmart. 😜 It's all over my feed, and for good reason! There are some gems and the prices are great. I've tried several pieces and will be sharing the pieces I like with you soon, but I'll start with a few today. This lightweight sweater helped me feel like I was dressing for Fall even though it's still so hot. Here's the thing though- IMO the sizing is WAY off. Your regular size will be tight. I wanted a relaxed fit and it took me 3 tries to get the fit I wanted- for reference this is a 3X (I'm normally a M-L). So, it's a fantastic sweater that comes in several pretty colors, but size up 2-3 sizes if you want a loose fit. There are also some great accessories in the new collection and I finished off my outfit with this cute red scarf that's included, jeans, and leopard sandals.

Then, I styled it two more ways! I dressed it up a bit for church, work, or a nice lunch or dinner out with those creamy pull on wide leg pants that I showed above. This outfit still felt cool and breezy and the warm colored scarf and loafers gave me the hints of Fall I wanted.
Lastly, here's a casual, running errands look with the perfect leopard cap for Fall and sneakers. I had this cute necklace on too but forgot to pull it out from under the neckline when I changed- oops!

When I came home I just switched into some comfy pants for the rest of the day. I've seen these pants shared multiple times as the best travel pants- stylish, wrinkle free out of the suitcase, and incredibly comfortable- but when I shopped them they were way more than my deal-loving heart was willing to pay. There are many "dupes" of those viral pants, and I ordered several that I immediately returned because I didn't like the fabric or fit at all. Then, I found these!!! Winner winner! The fabric is the same composition as the pricey pair and the fit is fantastic. They feel like an athletic pant but the cut and structure is so good you could totally dress them up and wear them for any occasion. The flat front waistband is flattering but they have elastic in the back and they are pretty true to size, I'm in a M (although you could size down if you're wanting a fit that's that a bit less baggy). The shipping time is a little longer than I'd like, but it's worth it! I haven't found another affordable brand that's the same fabric content as these, and that's what makes the difference.
I wore them again on Tuesday with a button up and sneakers for running some errands. This top is past season from Athleta, but I love their performance easy care button up shirts that you don't have to iron. They stay crisp and they're great for trips! This is the current best seller version- tall, regular, and petite sizes in four colors and it's on sale!
