FIVE FRIDAY FAVORITES

Hi there, I hope you're having a great weekend! Caleb is in town for a friend's bachelor weekend so we got to spend a few hours with him yesterday, that doesn't happen often enough these days! Other than that we've just got a weekend around the house and church Sunday morning , it's SO hot that not doing much of anything sounds perfect to me! Here are my Five Friday Favorites for this week! 1) It seems like this summer has been particularly humid, and I had almost forgotton about my secret weapon hairspray.  I use one that's a bit lighter day to day, but my hair has been a wreck lately and I remembered to pull this out of my cabinet! It holds curl in humidity better than anything I've used.  It's serious, though!  I like to spray it in quick bursts, scrunch my curls, then let it dry and lightly comb them to tame strays if needed. It's good to have on hand for bad hair days- add to your cart on Amazon , Walmart , or Target . Weather Control Hairspray ......

Hello friends!  Thank you so much for your kind comments on my outfit post yesterday, you seem to want to see more so I'll get to work on that! I'm working on a post for tomorrow and hadn't planned to post today, but then I noticed Anthropologie is taking an extra 50% off their sale items that just started this morning, and I thought I'd pop in and share a few of my picks!  A few weeks ago I got the  cutest little polka dot mug , today it's only $4 after discount!  Obviously, I used it as a planter and I think it's the most fun little pop of color and pattern.  What a happy gift this would make!  Speaking of, I've already started stashing away gifts and stocking stuffers and love to find bargains like this to add to my gift drawer. WHAT I WORE LATELY || CLOSET CHRONICLES {1}

I'm starting something a little new today- more along the lines of how I'm organizing posts than anything else. I know I often share clothing with you in my Five Friday Favorites posts, but I usually have more outfits that I mean to photograph and share on the blog but don't get around to it. Or, I forget to snap a pic of what I'm wearing and share it here- not just on social media! #badblogger  So, I'm making a conscious effort to be better at chronicling my daily outfits here on this page with you.  Every day isn't sharable- plenty of days I'm in my workout clothes all day or I'm wearing something too old to be able to link for you. It's tricky because older pieces can bring inspiration for something similar you might have in your own closet, but also frustrating if you like something I'm wearing but I'm not able to source it for you. MY DECOR, FASHION, ENTERTAINING, AND PARTY PICKS FOR JULY FOURTH
