WALMART HAUL TRY ON- BUDGET FRIENDLY FINDS YOU'LL LOVE!

Hi friends!  I'm currently writing this post as we go on one more quick road trip.  Way earlier this year, Ray bought tickets to go see Steve Martin and Martin Short's comedy show, and the closest place we could see it was in St. Louis.  The bluegrass band that Steve often plays with, Steep Canyon Rangers, will be there as well so we're looking forward to that.  We did get to come a little early and stop off in Northwest Arkansas to stay with Caleb and Kenzi for a few days, so that was a bonus!  Friends on Instagram made some recommendations, so we're headed to Mama's On The Hill for Italian food tonight.  Yum!

Earlier this week I shared this post with you full of my sale picks for Walmart Deal Days, currently running through the weekend. I shared a few fashion pieces in that post, but I've recently had a huge pile of things to try on and share with you, so I've loaded those all into one big Walmart haul post today!  There are some pieces that I've already owned for a while and love mixed in but also some new things for this season.  And because it's all from WM, you can be sure the price is super budget friendly.  In fact, the prices are better and I almost always find the quality to be more impressive than many Amazon fashion buys.

So let's get to it!  These outfits aren't overly styled, I literally was just trying on and documenting to share with you. So pardon the flip flops and bare feet- ha!  Almost everything I'm sharing comes in a wide variety of sizes and multiple color options, so check out the link if you like the style but might want a different color or pattern.  And FYI, everything is pretty true to size, I think sizing just depends on if you want a tailored or oversized fit. I will make a few sizing notes and for reference I'm 5'7", usually a M-L in tops and 8/10/M in pants.  I tend to over explain but hope the details are helpful!

I shared this waffle knit top in my earlier post and have already heard feedback from some of you how much you love it too! I wore it above on our trip and I wore different colors two days in a row earlier this week. Two of mine are XL but I think I prefer the L, that's what this olive green one is. Grab is on sale for $15! I've shared these $14 jeans multiple times over the past year.  The come in a variety of lengths and colors and have elastic across the back waistline, so comfy!  I cut a raw hem on mine.

OK, I have been on the HUNT for a new denim shirt.  I've browsed my usual websites for months and couldn't find the right combo of price/fabric/and fit.  THIS IS THE WINNER!  The fabric is a perfect weight, the collar is structured and it's a regular cut, not oversized.  I'm in a L but think it's a little big, but I do think it shrinks just a bit if you dry it so take that into account.  I've washed the dark one you'll see below and like the fit a little better.  A medium would have been more fitted and better under jackets or sweaters, but I like the L to wear like I often do just untucked with a pair of pants.

I also shared this $17 sale soft cotton blend cable cardigan earlier this week. Loving it! I'm in an XL here but reordered in a L, this felt a little too big but again, just depends on the fit you want.

The sweater also comes in red and I'm smitten!

The best $17 elastic waist pants come in several new prints including this darling grey fawn color. The leopard that I got last year are a M and that's what I ordered, but these new prints seemed a little smaller in the waist.  Maybe size up if you're in between. I paired it with one of my favorite solid colored lightweight sweaters.  I have 3 or 4 colors and it is restocked for the season in some new colors (I'm certain I need the green!) and a few fun patterns. It's perfect to wear alone as it starts to get chilly or layered under a blazer or jacket (I size up to an XL in this one for a relaxed fit).

Same pants in another new chocolate and black plaid print- so cute!  And here's the same denim shirt that I talked about above but in the dark denim.  Can't say enough good things about it!

The viral $17 pants in leopard print paired with the dark denim shirt...

This camel oversized sweater with a seam detail across the shoulders is the perfect cozy up or errand running comfy sweater! Pretty sure this is a L and plenty roomy.

This small cable knit hoodie sweater is probably the softest one in the bunch!    I got my embroidered bow jeans last year and they could have come straight out of a boutique. There are new color combos this year- I'm partial to the red- and even a pair with rhinestone bows, go up if in between sizes.  Cute and all on sale!

This puffed sleeve sweatshirt feels a lot cuter than a plain ol' sweatshirt!  I love the color too.  This is an XL but would prefer a L.

A while back I saw this bow sweatshirt and thought it was cute, but when they added the red I snatched it up!  Other than just loving the color, this will be so fun for the holidays- and not just Christmas! There is also a pair of matching wide leg pants if you want a set.  I have a couple of pairs of this brand of jeans and they are so flattering and comfortable, I usually need to size up if in between in this brand. This one I'm wearing is currently on sale and comes in a pretty wide variety of sizes and lengths.

OK, like the denim shirt from the same brand, this sweater far exceeds expectations for price and quality.  If you didn't know better you'd think it was from everyone's favorite pricey preppy brand.  It's 100% cotton and in a classic crew neck fit, this is a L but I also ordered the XL to try for a little more room.

Cotton Cable Knit Sweater | Flare Leg Jeans

Look closely, the cut out eyelet pattern detail really elevates this under $20 hoodie!

Sleeve Detail Hoodie Sweatshirt sz L. | Flare Leg Jeans

The puffed sleeves, long length, and front pockets give a nice little spin on this denim jacket!  I'm wearing it buttoned up as a top here-

or layer it over a shirt of sweater and wear it open. I'm wearing a L, it's pretty roomy but for me the M was too tight across the back of my shoulders.

Another fleece puff sleeve sweatshirt with details that feel a little more dressed up, it pairs well with a vest when it's chilly (like I wore here).

Puff Sleeve Sweatshirt | Love these new ribbed texture yoga pants with pockets, a faux fly and faux back pockets that look like real pants! sz. L, 27" length is cropped on me

I've bought several of WM's scubaknit sets over the past few years and love them!  This season they have this sassy snake print.  I wore this for a long travel day and  For this scuba line, I prefer my regular size M in the pants and sizing up to a L in the sweatshirt top.

Let's wrap this up with one more good one! This crisp white button down shirt is fantastic.  The fabric has a bit of stretch but is structured so the collar stays popped and cuffs are nice and sleeves are long enough for my long arms!  Size accordingly whether you want a tailored, tuck in fit or a wear loose oversized fit.  I'm in a L. I copied my friend's suggestion and added a monogram.

OK whew!  That was quite the haul, I hope you found some things that might fill a gap in your closet at a great price! If you haven't grabbed them yet, don't forget the best leopard hat is under $9 and 6 colors of this scarf are on deal for $5 while Walmart Deals are running just a few more days! See more of my picks from the sale here.  Have a wonderful weekend, friend!
