We do have a birthday to celebrate today too... this guy turns 14!! We adopted him and his brother when they were 6 months old after they had been in a shelter up until that point. We lost Scout in 2021 and still miss him! Chief is still working hard at finding the best spot to lounge in the sun every day and settling in to watch tv with us at night (he'll only sit beside you on your left- he's not a lap cat!). 🤣 He got an extra splash of milk in his bowl this morning to celebrate.
Speaking of Valentine's Day (our first date was 34 years ago today!), I recently damaged my wedding ring and do not want to wear it until I get it repaired. So, I got this $20 CZ Eternity Band Ring stand in beauty and I can't say enough good things about it! It comes in several metal color options and is really comfortable to wear, and looks SO good in person! I've been wearing it all the time- often forget to remove it when I'm washing dishes and it is holding up perfectly. Beautiful ring for any finger!
And while we're talking jewelry, I also recently got this horseshoe clasp necklace and have been wearing it often. The quality is fantastic, it has a nice weight to it and looks great on it's own or layered with other necklaces. Highly recommend! When packing up Christmas, my Mom got a set of these clear zip closed storage bags, and then I realized I needed some too! I've got some of the blue Ikea ones which are great, but I love being able to see through these so I know at a glance what's in them. They came in handy for these bulky Christmas pillow and stockings! I've since used them for storing other pillows, blankets and comforters, and they're great for storing seasonal clothes as well.
Not the best photo, but I got these new running (walking!) shoes a few months ago and really love them. They are SO cushioned! They're on a great sale here and run true to size, highly recommend! (I'm also loving these cute ruffled socks, and just gave these to Emily that are a tad thinner but better price!)

Anthropologie- I can never resist browsing the sale selection at Anthropologie when they are offering an extra discount on top of sale. Here are the things that caught my eye, but you can see all extra 50% off sale items here- lots of great shoes, clothes, and accessories! And bummer for me, I purchased last night when it was extra 40 off, but you get 50 today! I bought this darling vase and a few of the scarves I'll link below, this set is GORGEOUS and I can't wait to get it! I bought a different color of this hat in a previous sale and it's definitely a new fave wearing mine in photo below)! I also love this metal bow brooch in gold or silver. It's a substantial size and would be pretty not only on a top or blazer but also used to pin a scarf on a bag, on a canvas tote, or pin to a tassel rope wrapped around a lamp!
J. Crew Factory- Extra 50% off clearance- men and kids sale too! Here are a few of my faves- I have the velvet blazer in 2 colors, buy it now for a steal and you won't be sorry this Fall! I actually still wore mine last Sunday though, you can still get a little more wear out of it this season. I also love the ruffle neck blouses and snag a new color when they're on sale, the hearts are on the way to me. And I always take advantage of the clearance jewelry to stock my gift drawer, always happy with the quality!
Old Navy- Tons of sales and extra 20% off almost everything for cardholders. Nice selection of $16 button ups in great colors! I've been loving this set this season. It's super soft and a medium weight, sizing is roomy.
