FIVE FRIDAY FAVORITES

Happy Friday everyone!  Thanks so much for jumping back in with me this week as I'm getting back to a regular posting schedule.  If you missed it, I shared a giant catch-up post here and something new in the Living Room here.  Ray and I are actually on our way for a quick overnight trip in Kansas City.  It's been a long time since we've been and I've been itching to go to Nell Hill's, so we're squeezing in a quick getaway before wedding week next week.  I'm hoping to come across a thrift store or two as well- follow along in my Instagram stories and I'll share. It's been so long since I've shared Five Friday Favorites with you that it was hard to narrow down my choices!

I don't have one pumpkin out yet but you bet it feels like Fall in the house because the peanut and candy corn mix is out!  If you've never tried the mix, you are missing out.  Some compare it to a Payday Candy bar, and even if you're not the biggest fan of candy corn you might just be won over if you try it mixed with peanuts.  Some people even like to throw M&Ms into the mix- I haven't tried that yet but think that might need to happen on the next batch. This pretty candy jar is just the right size to keep on the coffee table or a side table.  Fair warning... it's hard to stop eating once you start!

I've added a couple of great look for less bracelets to my wardrobe recently.  First up, this set of bangle twist bracelets that are linked together.  I doubled them up for more impact and you won't believe the price for both.  I have worn these often since I got them and they are holding up great! This small beaded set is  pictured with them and also such a great deal for a nice little set to stack up.

Next, I've shared these gold beaded bracelets that are a bit of a splurge with you in the past (I caught a sale!).  Before I purchased I searched high and low for a "look for less" version but couldn't find anything similar.  But finally, I stumbled across some! I bought them mainly to check out the gold bead bracelets.  They are virtually identical to my splurge set, they are just a slightly more muted gold.  Even though I was particularly interested in the gold bracelet, I really like the stack of the acrylic bracelets that came with them as well!  I bought two different sets from the same link and am wearing them all together here, but you can mix and match so many ways.

I love this slide sandal, especially to wear currently for Fall!  It will still be warm enough for quite a while to wear slides where I live, and I do wear them even with a sweater and jeans until it is definitely too chilly for bare toes. The colorway works so well with warm Fall colors, this is one of my favorite go-to brands.

An easy to throw-on-and-go dress is my favorite "uniform" through the Summer, but when a chill hits the air you can definitely find me layered up with a vest often! I wear it as more of an athletic piece with a long sleeve t-shirt and leggings or joggers on days when I'm working around the house, or switch to a favorite button-up and jeans for a more casual look. This vest is such a staple, fits true to size (plus sizes too!) and with it's FIFTEEN dollar price tag you can choose several of the 5 colors available!

Finally, I have a couple of big 40 oz. Stanley mugs and absolutely love them, but I recently tried the 30 oz. flip top version and am loving it just as much, for different reasons!  This one is perfect for throwing into a tote or travel duffel since it seals completely closed.  I also like that the straw isn't constantly exposed so using it in public places isn't quick as icky since you're able to close it up.  The new Varsity Stripe Collection is SO cute, and my daughter chose this darling orange one to show her OSU Cowboy spirit!

That's it for this week, hope you all have a good weekend!
