PINK, ORANGE, LEOPARD, AND GINGHAM FALL FRONT PORCH 2023

This post is sponsored by Hobby Lobby

Even though our temps haven't quite been cooperative, I recently got my Front Porch all decorated for Fall! This year I didn't want to completely steer away from a traditional Fall palette, so I used hot pink and leopard print mixed with traditional Fall orange and brown, and incorporated plenty of pattern and texture as well.  I found everything I needed to create this look at  Hobby Lobby in their seasonal and other departments, all at 40-50% off!

I wanted something different to hang on the front door and when wandering through all of the aisles for ideas, I saw this round woven piece with the wall decor selections and inspiration hit!  I then browsed everything in the Fall Shop and combined the round woven base with a wood pumpkin door hanger, faux Fall florals and dried naturals, and a mixture of ribbon-

 to create this unconventional “wreath!”

I'm so pleased with the size and mixture of textures, colors, and patterns!  I really like how the leopard print and pheasant feathers fit in perfectly for Fall with some warmth and depth, yet are more interesting than solid browns in the mix.

I used brown craft pumpkins + Mod Podge + paper napkins to make the cutest leopard decoupage pumpkins in no time at all,

and my favorite round tip sponge brush gave me cute polka dot orange pumpkins in under 10 minutes. And of course they all got a bow on top too!  Hobby Lobby has the best selection of ribbon- I always check the variety of choices in the seasonal, floral, and fabric departments.

Little details like the bandana neck scarves on the lions, velvet pumpkin and mini pine cone lantern fillers, more matching bows on an adorable wooden pumpkin, and the neutral embossed pumpkin doormat all tie together to give a finished cohesive look.

In my next post I'll share the simple process I used to make the leopard print pumpkins, and how I assembled the door hanger.  They were both easy craft projects that I finished in around an hour or so, either would be a fun activity for anyone to try!

I couldn’t be happier with how this year’s Fall Porch turned out, I hope you’re inspired to create something colorful and fun for Fall too! Be sure to stop by your local Hobby Lobby to find everything for your seasonal decor needs.

  1. Your porch is beautiful and so refreshing. I, too, took a different direction last weekend when decorating our front porch. The overall color is PINK and BROWN with WHITE pumpkins. It is breast cancer awareness month after all.

  2. Looks great! I can’t use artificial pumpkins outside because they blow away! Yep, it happened!❤️

    1. I would drill a hole in the bottom, fill it with sand or gravel. Patch the hole with some strong tape :)
