Hello friends, happy weekend! Remembering my Dad today on what would have been his 83rd birthday. I still miss him every day, it's still hard to believe that he's not with us anymore. Grateful for the hope we have in Christ that we will see him again one day! So happy that Emily is home for the weekend, it's been a while since we've seen her- too long! Looking forward to our time together. Here are my favorites from this week!
1) Striped Rechargeable Lamps- how fun are these??? I think they look like they could have come straight from Anthropologie, but the price for a set of 2 is so affordable! They have 3 light color options and are dimmable.
I bought all four colors to share with you and am having a really hard time deciding which one to keep, but I think it's going to be the green ones and the pink and orange ones. I'm having visions of lining them down my Thanksgiving table, but this one has added a pretty little night time glow on the kitchen table for now.
3) Mens Quarter Zip Sweatshirt- I linked this a few weeks ago for you all and bought several for guys in my family. Ray got his and has enjoyed wearing it several times already. (I got him 2 colors but saved one for his upcoming birthday!) The style makes it look polished especially layered over a button up, but it's really just a comfy ol' sweatshirt! The quality is fantastic, it comes in several colors, and the price is quite surprising for what you get! I also bought him this shirt that is the prettiest color combo for Fall and a couple of these shirts that are they are really good too. He has multiple pairs of these oxford style mesh sneakers, loves them!
4) Blue and White Nativity Set- I found this precious blue and white nativity last year and kept the page open on my computer for months... and the price kept going up and up as it got closer to Christmas. It was too high when I finally decided to buy. I remembered to check on it again two days ago, the price was back down, and it arrived on my porch yesterday!
It's the cutest set, and my favorite part about it is they all have the sweetest expressions on their face! And the darling little sheep! At time of posting, this is the best price I've seen and here's a different source that's just a few dollars more. This is my bow sweatshirt, it comes in several colors but runs small- I got an XL for a regular fit.
5) Stars- I guess Christmas is on the brain since several things on my list today are holiday related. I need to be thinking about it this early to prep and share with you, but are you? I'll start sharing some things over the weeks to come, we all know the good stuff will be selling out quickly well before you're probably ready to decorate! One of my Christmas FAQs... where did you get your stars??
HERE! I get them here! I've collected them over the years and just picked up a few new ones. I took a couple of the white ones and did very light coats of spray paint on them to make my green and pink ones, but I really love the white one with the gold trim too. I bought this red one to add to my collection this year. Most of mine are the 28 ish inch ones, but I have a couple of the 35" ones too. I have bought some smaller stars here that are also good if the others are too large. You can add a light cord to them as well but I usually just hang mine with ribbon or string unlit. See all of the options here.
I saw several cute things in the holiday collection and got these absolutely adorable honeycomb Santa hats, wouldn't they be so cute on a tablescape?
That's it for this week! Do you have any fun weekend plans? Other than spending time with Emily, we also have our Fall Festival at church on Sunday, so we are looking forward to that. I'm also planning to pop in on Sunday with a quick post- I have some really exciting news to share with you, see you then!
