FIVE FRIDAY FAVORITES

Well Friday sure did come quickly again! Do you have fun weekend plans?  The weather in OKC is supposed to be gorgeous this weekend, so I have plans to spray paint alllll the things, spruce up the front porch for Valentine's Day, and finish up a few other projects.  And Sunday we'll keep an eye on the game and commercials after church but mostly save room all day for yummy snacks!  I'm especially excited to share my first favorite thing with you today, and have rounded up some other great Friday favorites this week too!    (*This post contains affiliate links, including Amazon.  As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases. About a year ago I shared my love of Gray Malin's Party at the Parker photograph series, and these playing cards that I found printed with a ton of photos from the shoot.  While trying to come up with artwork for the kids' bathroom that I liked, I thought of that series again but knew the art prints were out of my budget.  So I started wondering if perhaps a calendar had been made with the photos that I could use the pages from to frame.  A search didn't turn up a calendar, but I did discover this Be Our Guest Children's Book that was published with photos from the series!  Online, I couldn't see anything but the cover so I didn't know if any of the pages would be suitable for framing, but decided to order it anyway and check it out.

Be Our Guest book here, here, or here

Much to my delight, there are about 11 full page photos that would be suitable to frame, and even more if I did some creative trimming (to avoid the words) of the page and used a smaller frame. With a careful cut along the inside spine with an exacto knife, each page is right at 8x10".  I plan to use a slightly larger frame for mine and add mats for a more professional look.  Here are a few of the full page photos-

While all of the photos are so fun, I'm partial to the giraffe- how cute is that?  I was sad that it's one that had some writing on the page and I won't be able to use it, but still totally happy with plenty of other options.

I'm going to use 2 for the kids' bathroom and more for another project I'd like to do soon, I show you them all framed once I get some put together!

In the spirit of Valentine's Day coming up, I wanted to share this For Like Ever poster that I've admired for years.  Made super popular by a feature in Domino Magazine, the appeal of the print continues and the creator has made several other colors and sizes available.  I actually have the print in gray that I got several years ago... I made the choice when I thought I should "play it safe" when my heart really wanted the pink and red one...  I think I'm going to have to remedy that and order the pink one since I still think about it after all of these years!  Ray HAS asked me what I want for Valentine's Day...  ;)

Lip t-shirts are super trendy and I recently came across a sweatshirt version, with a leopard print tongue no less!  This will be fun to wear around Valentine's Day and on into the Spring.  The reviews on quality are great but sizing reviews are a little mixed, I'm going to size up one.  A different listing offers the same print but with pink lips (not as bright as pictured), as soon as I decide what color I want I'm ordering one!  There are several different sweatshirt color options in each listing too.

I recently got these rainbow pin magnets, such a fun, chic option for your fridge or magnetic memo board!  They're nice and strong and I love that they hardly take up any space at all.  They would be such a cute gift too!  They come in a pack of 50 so you could even split the set into smaller bundles, put them in a cute bag with a ribbon and you have a 2 for 1 gift! (Hello teacher Valentine's Day gifts?)

Lastly, it's no secret that it's my fave, but the extra 30% off clearance Dillards Sale is going on this weekend!  There is so much merchandise to wade through online, here are a few of my picks.  The cut glass pieces are Waterford crystal, such gorgeous, heirloom gifts to stock up on for the upcoming Wedding season! Prices marked already reflect the discount, lots of good stuff here including Coach, Tory Burch, Kate Spade, Ugg, Sam Edelman, Lucky Brand, Free People and Draper James!
