As I analyzed, I realized that I have similar items to most of the parts and pieces, but I'm not sure I've ever put them together this way before. Green + Pink + Chinoiserie Blue and White + Tartan Plaid... the plaid in the mix along with the pink and red is what felt different to me! I think the key is that it's a lighter, white background plaid and the red, green, and blue in it pulls together the red and pink, blue and white, and green in all of the other decorations.

Love all of the dish mixes but these lanterns!!! I have some pagoda lanterns and as I've mentioned in the past, they are always hard to find at an affordable price to source for you, if I can find them at all! But Dillards has several colored ones and a gold one available right now! I picked up a few of this style at the end of summer and will be using them in the mix, but i also think i'll spray a couple of my older pagoda lanterns red like these. Those pink metal bows are so cute too!
And then there's the tree they set up!! Love it all. I'm not sure what I'm doing on the top of my tree yet this year but that giant bow is inspiring me for sure!
I rounded up all the things at Dillards for these looks if something specific caught your eye-
I also broadened my search a bit with the goal of finding some other products that give the same look at a lower price point. I tried to find things that were more affordable, but a few of these included below to "Get the Look" are the only option available and the price just is what it is- ha!
I am starting my Christmas decorating this week, hoping to start sharing with you soon (just shared the first peek on IG!). In recent years I have finished my Christmas decorating very late in the season, not a great practice for a blogger who shares photos to inspire your own ideas! 😂 So, I wanted to give a little reminder of my Christmas tours from the past few years if you want to look them over now to see if anything sparks your creativity as you prepare to decorate this year.
Never miss a post!

I love your use of color! Even though I could never do it your colors are always so HAPPY. I tend towards neutral with bunch of blue and white. I really appreciate the way it all comes together seamlessly.
ReplyDeleteThank you, your decor sounds beautiful!
DeleteActually, Jennifer, as I scrolled through the photos you shared from Dillard’s, I thought it looked like THEY’D taken inspiration from YOU. Thanks for sharing your colorful ideas. Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas to you and your family.
ReplyDeleteWell thanks... there were definitely a lot of pieces similar to things I already have. Have a wonderful holiday season!
DeleteI can’t wait to see it all complete! I am sure it will be gorgeous. All of my favorites.
DeleteLike all the pink. I tried to link over to the huge bow you put on first the how to, but it took me to Amazon. Maybe I did it wrong. Can you help with sending another link please. Thanks
DeleteDo you mean the big red bow on top of the tree? The link is in the first group of product photos, it's the photo of the top of the Christmas tree with the bow on top.
DeleteHi! Everything is beautiful! Your take on this will be amazing!
DeleteI think *maybe* the comment above is referring to the "How to" you posted/linked recently of the John Mark big bow (?)
But also, the link to the big red bow from this post says "unavailable for internet purchase". Maybe it's in store only??
Can't wait to see what your Christmas 2025 home!
When I saw the initial colors, it has you written all over it! I can't wait to see it all finished. It will be so happy!
ReplyDeleteI came here with the very same thought! The designers were surely inspired by YOU!❤️
