FIVE FRIDAY FAVORITES

Happy Weekend! I'm excited to share this week's Five Friday Favorites with you, even though it's well past Friday! A cute new sweater, some new affordable jewelry pieces, a clever problem solver, and my first new holiday item for this season!

I bought this leopard sweater recently and love it!  It's a very soft fine gauge sweater knit that's a substantial weight but not too heavy.  It has a cute hood and I like how the zipper ends several inches above the hem of the sweater so it doesn't restrict movement at all.  I sized up to a Large for a sweater jacket/coatigan type fit.

I have no interest in a smart watch but do wear a regular watch every day, usually one of my dressier gold watches.  I've been wanting a sportier style, though, for more active days or just when I'm working around the house.  You can't go wrong with a good old Casio, and this super affordable one was a winner for me!  I like the oversized face and color, technically light gray but nice and neutral without being stark white.  Just don't ask me to set it- I have to get one of the guys to do that for me, they've worn their Casios for years! 😂

I have two 40 oz. Stanley mug tumblers that I've had for several years and I use every day, but when I saw their new version with a lid that has a leakproof straw I was sooooo tempted to get new ones.  I inevitably tip mine over from time to time and so much spills out before I can grab it up.  But, I thought it was silly to spend the money when my cups were perfectly good. Amazon to the rescue!  I found these flip straw lids that come in a variety of colors and are very inexpensive. They fit perfectly and truly do not leak.  I put them to the test on our beach trip, I could close the straw and throw my cup in my beach bag, not a drop leaked out!

Are statement necklaces making a comeback?  I hope so but I'm on board whether they're on trend or not! It totally looks like metal to me but this wooden beaded necklace is so light weight, I honestly forget that I have it on when I'm wearing it.  It's so versatile to dress up or down, I wore it with my nice dress for church but also wore it with a sweater and casual blazer- it looks great with just about anything.  It comes in several colors and I like the gold so much I bought the red one too!

I was scrolling Facebook a few days ago and a Marshalls ad came across with this sweatshirt.  "Hold Your Horses" was one of those sayings that my Dad said often and always reminds us of him, and with the cute color combo I couldn't resist clicking over to check it out.  Well that took me down a rabbit hole of all of the fabulous things listed on the Marshalls website!  Not only did I buy the sweatshirt (FYI, I sized up to L for slightly oversized, but the body is very long, like below your bootie) but also couldn't resist this darling hooked Christmas pillow.  The quality is fantastic and I actually just saw several by the same maker in fancy boutiques on our trip, but the price point on these is waaaaayyyy better!

As I mentioned, I spent some time looking through the rest of the site too and found some goodies-
