Last week we had a women's event at our church where ladies were invited to decorate and host a table. It was so fun to see the variety and creativity of them all! I tried to photograph them all but ran out of time and got distracted visiting, but did manage to capture 20 pretty ideas if you're decorating for a banquet or event and need some inspiration! I know that many of you decorate for events at your church as well, so I like to share these when I can.

First up, here was my table. It's pretty obvious I just walked around my house and gathered all of my favorite things! ;) I took my photos before the wall was pulled to open up the rest of the room, and I didn't have my cake yet. Also forgot coffee cups so I added some blue willow mugs later.

I monogrammed some new napkins, you'll be seeing these again! I also set a little favor bag of green M&M's at each place tied with a printed tag of the event logo.

This was an afternoon event with Nothing Bundt Cakes and Tea/Coffee for our refreshments so there wasn't a lot of food to fuss with. Each hostess was asked to bring a cake stand and server for the cake for her table, and clear plastic plates were provided to serve the cake and set on top of the table place setting if she didn't want to use the table setting plates.
Here are the rest of the beautiful tables! I'm not going to comment much unless there's a particular detail I don't want you to miss, just enjoy taking them all in.
This was such a fresh color scheme, and the design was done by a sweet 20 year old girl!
She cut and hand painted these 2x4s to make stands for the candles- love that idea!
Love that this hostess provided darling disposable coffee cups- great idea!

Our church purchased a set of black and white gingham tablecloths for some variety from the usual black, so you'll see several used in these photos. The pattern goes with so many different designs and color schemes! These are the ones that we bought for the church and I have a set as well- highly recommend for easy no-iron, stain resistant wash and wear!
Our event was right before Valentine's Day so there were several holiday themed tables-
How cute are these rose folded napkins in each glass? I believe she tie dyed them as well.

This table was done by our church's seamstress/monogrammer extraordinaire... each of those placemats is completely appliqued/monogrammed and she even made slipcovers for the chair backs with stitched designs on them!
I love seeing collections as a centerpiece-
This was a paper heart doily wrapped around the flatware, such a cute idea.
I wish I had photographed all of tables, they were each so unique! Hope these get your thinking cap in gear if you have an upcoming event to decorate for, or maybe just a special family dinner coming up! I've got a 15 table event on the horizon and I'm stumped but the wheels are turning...
