FRIDAY FASHION FAVES

I usually do a random group of items for Five Friday Favorites, but lately I've had several great fashion finds so decided to stick with that for a theme for what I'm sharing with you today.  These are all recent additions that I really love and think you will too.  We're probably too late to add these to your Christmas wish list, but if you find yourself with a little Christmas money burning a hole in your pocket I can help you find something to do with it... ha! Leopard Flats- I think I own about every style of leopard shoe available, but I've just about worn holes in the bottom of my leopard flats.  I've had my eye out for a new pair, and I recently saw that these that are normally around $150 had been clearanced at one of my favorite mall stores.  But, then I found them online for an even better price!   I really love these, you can tell in the photo that the heel has a cushion and the rest of the foot bed is slightly cushioned as well.  Most of the reviews suggest sizing down 1/2 size, trust those!  I'm a strong size 10 in shoes, and the 10 was too big for me.  9 1/2 was perfect!  (And I couldn't figure out why they didn't feel quite right when I got them until I realized there were still cardboard liners in them across the top of the toe... duh!!  ;)  Totally couldn't see or really feel them, make sure you take those out!) Shoes also here on sale if sizes are unavailable in previous link.

Cream Sweater- I've had this sweater for a little over a month and have worn it since I got it at least once a week!  It is One Size but is very roomy, almost like a dress.  Perfect for leggings or skinnies!  It's lightweight but drapes nicely, is really warm and is only $20 this week!  I wore it to the movies yesterday and was so glad I had, it was freezing in there and I could wrap it around most of myself like a blanket!  (PS- have you seen Ford vs. Ferrari?  We really liked it!)

Leopard Pants- no longer online but you might find some on the clearance rack at H&M

Santa Pom Pom Earrings- I know it's late but I just got these a couple of days ago and wanted to check them out before I shared them with you.  They're super festive and are on Prime, so you still have a bit of time for this season.  I've admired some super similar ones on a pricey accessories website, and was thrilled to find these on Amazon.  They quality is great for the price and they're not as heavy as I would have thought, the weight didn't bother me at all!

I've also wanted these for a few years but could never bring myself to pay the price for a "fun" pair of earrings that I knew I would only wear occasionally.  Well, I just happened to come across those on Amazon too!  I scooped them up for $14.99 and am so pleased with them.  They are long- not too bad for the body but the dangling legs really add to the length, but how cute will these be especially in Spring and Summer with a simple t-shirt and shorts or easy Summer dress?

Leopard Coat- This has been a nice layering piece this season.  It's more of a jacket weight and I can easily dress it up or down.  I wore this to church a few weeks ago- I was a bit unsure of my pattern mixing- even for me!- but ended up liking it!

Black Bow Heels  ||  Green Gingham Blouse  ||  Green Pants- so old  :)

Pink Bow Flats- These are dreamy!  My friend from church bought these at the mall last year and I knew I should get a pair, but never got around to it.  Well, of course they disappeared but after I found my black bow heels above that are the same brand I decided to try to track down the pink flats.  I did, and they're going to be under the tree for me next week!  (I "borrowed" them from my husband's pile  ;)  to wrap so I could take a pic for you- not sure how long they'll be available.)  True to size.

Polka Dot Sweatshirt- I've been loving this little cutie polka dot sweatshirt lately.  I think the v-neck cut elevates it a bit and makes it look a little nicer than a regular sweatshirt.  I layered it with a past season button-up that I already had but this one is just like it. Would look super cuter over a chambray shirt, gingham, or Christmas plaid too! (Updated- I wrote this up and had it all ready to share with you, and it looks like this one is out of stock online right now.  Still sharing though, maybe they'll restock or you can find one in store.  Sorry about that!)

Green Leopard Sweater-  You might have seen me wearing this in my Christmas Tour,  but it's so good I wanted to make sure you didn't miss it.  It's available in several different colors, I was so tempted to buy another!  Very soft, not as cropped as the stock photo appears, size up one.

Plaid Puffer Coat- I tried this coat on a few weeks ago and keep thinking about it!  It fit well and was cozy without being too bulky or heavy.  It's $20 right now so that just might seal the deal!

Happy weekend before Christmas, friends!  Enjoy scurrying around doing all the fun things and all of the prep for next week, but I hope you take some quiet time to savor the season, too!

  1. That plaid puffer jacket is too cute! And just when I said no more shopping! LOL. Merry Christmas! Toodles, Kathryn @TheDedicatedHouse

  2. Do you size up on sweaters and sweatshirts when you layer a long sleeve shirt underneath? I always worry about feeling claustrophobic.
