I thought you might like to see my latest Craigslist find that I wasn't necessarily looking for, but couldn't resist!
I'm not sure where it will go yet. In front of the fireplace might be cute, but I really like a pair of separate stools there. I've been wanting a bench for my utility room, and this one fits the space perfectly. We also have a master bathroom makeover looming next year, and it would be nice to have in there. Another possibility.
I love the shape and design, but it obviously needs a makeover. The cushion should be easy enough to remove and recover, and the possibilities are endless for the frame. As I searched for inspiration, I came across several good options...
Keep it natural with a pretty upholstered seat (it's in good enough shape to keep the finish as is, although it does have that awful speckled finish, so there's that to consider).

White is always a pretty {safe} choice-
But you know the idea of a glossy fun color is calling to me too!

I honestly have no clue where I'm headed with this one... it will be a surprise to us all! I need to decide for sure where it will go and that will help with the design direction. I'll keep you posted.
