HALLOWEEN MIX AND MATCH TABLESCAPE

I typically don't do much decorating for Halloween, but when Ariel from PMQ for Two invited me to create a Halloween Tablescape along with some other talented ladies, I couldn't say no!  True to my style, I filled my table with a variety of mix and match patterns, sticking to a traditional Halloween color palette.

I pulled tons of black and white parts and pieces from around my house.  Even though there are many different patterns, the consistent black and white unifies everything.

I gave a nod to the holiday with these cute clip-on spiders and attached them to a simple gold napkin ring I already had.

I kept the centerpiece simple- brass candlesticks layered on a spotted runner (really, just a piece of fabric!) and filled with a variety of black and white candles.

The zinnias in my flower bed are still going strong, so I snipped a few to add in one pop of orange.

The candlelight glow is perfect for these dark, cozy evenings.

I think this little black and white table fits in so well with my house, I might just remove the spiders and switch the flowers, and keep it going well past Halloween!  I can make black and white work for any season.  ;)  Thanks so much for stopping by to see my table today!

  10. Love what you've done as well! Wish we were neighbors to feed off of each other! ha When you comment about your table runner being a piece of fabric, on my dining room sideboard I took large black/white polka dot wrapping paper and covered the top. Girl, you wouldn't know it unless you're on top of it and guess what? LOVE THE LOOK!
