Hello Friends! We're back for this month's installment of My Favorite Five!  Did you enjoy reading our 5 Favorite Paint Colors last month?  We're back at it the first Tuesday of every month, and once again, I'm teaming up with my talented blog buddies-

Pam of Simple Details

This month we're honored to have Rene from Cottage and Vine as our guest host.  Rene has such a classic, polished style that I know you'll love, be sure to hop over and meet her if you're not friends yet.

Today, we're sharing our favorite 5 Quick and Easy Holiday Decorating Ideas with you.

Shop the party section of the craft store for non-traditional Christmas decorations like these paper fans.  Just unfold and you have instant color, pattern, and texture!  Adding them to my mantle and entry last year was my favorite touch.

I made these easy Scrabble Tile ornaments several years ago.  They're one of my favorite things to put on the tree, are fully customizable for your family, and are a great project for kids to help with too!

Stack cake stands or pedestal serving pieces and fill with festive colors for a super quick centerpiece or counter decoration.

I made this chalkboard garland using silver trays from Dollar Tree.  It's fun for the porch, china cabinet, blank wall, or outdoor space and works for any occasion or season.

Lastly, I love massing a bunch of like objects together on a tray.  This simple yet beautiful and dramatic centerpiece was made with nothing more than loads of brass candlesticks and a variety of white candles, fresh cut greenery clippings from the yard scattered around the base, and a few gold ornaments nestled in the greens.  Since they're all on a tray, it's easy to move off of the table when needed for a meal, too.

Be sure to head over to Simple DetailsShine Your LightDriven by Decor, and Cottage and Vine to check out their 5 quick and easy holiday ideas too!

We want you to join in the favorites fun too if you're on Instagram.  You can share a photo that includes your favorite holiday decorating idea and tag it using #myfivefavorites.  I'll be posting there as well (@jenniferdimplesandtangles) to share all of the details of our IG Five Favorites Design Challenge, where one winner will be shared across all five of our accounts on Friday.  So get to posting, we want to see your holiday ideas!
