THIS YEAR'S THANKSGIVING TABLE PLANS AND INSPIRATION FROM YEARS PAST

I'll be sharing my Thanksgiving table with you next week, but today I thought I'd give you a little preview and show you the plan I have to put it together in case you're looking for a few ideas to use on your table too.  I also went back through the archives and picked out my top five Thanksgiving tables from years past if you are looking for a variety of table inspiration today!

Here's the direction I'm planning to go this year, this is just a starting point so I'll add in and switch around some things as I'm actually putting it together I'm sure.  As I mentioned in my Fall home tour, I've been loving the blush pink + brown combo for Fall this year, so when I bought this pink block print tablecloth earlier this year I knew right away I wanted to mix with with browns to use for my Thanksgiving table.

Most of the other pieces I already had, but I did treat myself to a new set of dishes! I've had some vintage pink rimmed dishes that I've used on past tables but I only had random pieces, actually not enough to use for more than 5 places.  I've found myself wanting to use those often but was limited by the number I had, so I've had my eye out for some new ones.  I found this set of Lenox French Perle dishes and absolutely love them!  These will be in the everyday dish mix around here now too.  (I also considered the pieces in this ruffled edge collection that's a lower price point, but ultimately decided to go with the scalloped set.  This bow set is also adorable and super affordable for the set!)

I've rounded up exact and similar sources that are saved all together here- I'd love for you to follow me on LTK too if you're not already!  I often post things there well before they are published on the blog.

If you are on social media for any time at all I'm sure you've seen the huge "Ralph Lauren Christmas" trend happening this year, but I think "Ralph Lauren Thanksgiving" should have been a thing!  Plaid naturally lends itself to the warmth of Fall and Thanksgiving.  This was one of my favorite tables from past years-

Similar Plaid Tablecloth Here, Here, or Here Similar Green Chargers Here or Look for Less Here or Here || Friendly Village Dishes Set Here or Pieces Here || Cane Rimmed Plates || Similar Green Cabbage Bowls Here || Gold Bamboo Flatware || Navy Bandanas

And another favorite plaid mix for Thanksgiving that's a bit non traditional-

I gathered up some family pieces and vintage finds for this table-

Blue Runner- strips of paper  ||  Everything else is either vintage, thrifted, or no longer available.

Don't dismiss the ruffly edged goodness of an $8 bunch of carnations for a centerpiece!  I split one up into small vases mixed in with clippings from the yard and I loved this table so much!

Vintage Pink Plates but Similar Here (reviews say color is blush, not as bright pink as photo looks) ||  Similar Green Chargers Here or Look for Less Here or Here ||  Cane Rimmed Plates || Friendly Village Dishes  || Pink Glasses || Oval Woven Placemats || Similar Green Striped Napkins || Gold Bamboo Flatware || Similar Napkin Rings

This harvest style table set on my patio on year was a fun one that sticks with a traditional Fall color scheme- and spot my squirrels before they turned pink! 🤣

Although I set a table every year, we don't often host our family's actual Thanksgiving dinner, but this year we are! I'll be setting up the table in the kitchen as well using a similar plan. You can see all of my tables by scrolling through the pages here if you're still looking for more inspiration! (If you're reading on a desktop you might have to close out a video in the bottom right corner to see the option to scroll to the next page of tables.)
