SUMMER HOME TOUR PART 2- ENTRY, DINING ROOM, AND MASTER BEDROOM

Today I'm continuing to show you around for my Summer Home Tour.  If you missed the Living Room tour in my last post, stop by and see that here.  When you're ready, let's go ahead and take a look at the Entry, Dining Room, and Master Bedroom today.  (*This post contains affiliate links, read my full disclosure policy here.)

The Entry dresser didn't change too much from my Spring Tour, I've really just been switching out the flowers or a plant as needed.

That bowl of yellow lemons makes me happy!

If you missed it in an earlier post, see more of my Summer Porch here.

In the Dining Room (recent reveal details here), I simply pulled a few pieces from my blue and white collection and grouped them as a centerpiece.  We've been enjoying using this room with more seating around the table!

In our Master Bedroom, a pillow switch and fresh flowers from the yard were easy changes to make for Summer.

I also recently added a new patterned duvet cover from Crane and Canopy.  My daughter has a C&C duvet cover and sheet set on her bed, and they're such nice quality I was excited to add a piece to my bedding as well.  I selected the Page Navy Duvet Set.  With so much other pattern in my room, I've always had trouble finding another pattern for the duvet so I've just used a white cover.  However, this small scale blue and white print fit in just fine and coordinates with the ikat pattern on my Euro pillows.  I do love that it's reversible to solid white though when I do want to change things up.

These leopard pillows have been in my room for several years now and I still get questions about them.  I made them with this fabric and just added mixed orange and hot pink yarn pom poms to the corners (find my easy pom pom tutorial here).  (Ready made leopard pillow here.)

My headboard was a DIY (tutorial here) but here are several ready made that I've found.

This is the same pattern as the floral pillows, but I think it's discontinued and have not been able to find the same colorway to share with you.   The pink pillows are $4 covers from Ikea (similar here) that I monogrammed with this download pattern.  The blue ikat fabric was from a local store and is no longer available, but these or these are very similar and are available in the 26" euro size.

I made my drapes years ago, and it's getting hard to find the fabric but if you hurry I found a great deal on it here and here (not sure why the price is different).   I love these now just as much as the day I hung them (which says a lot in this frequently changing house- ha!).

Ok, I stayed up late getting this post ready to publish so I'm ready to hop into that bed!  :)  I hope you enjoyed part 2 of my Summer Tour today, next up I'll be sharing the patio!

  1. Such a beautiful home! I have a suggestion and its not meant to criticize, the mirrors beside your bed seem to need to be moved up, they seem too low next to your headboard. Like maybe the bottom of the mirror should be at the top of the lamp shade. Maybe its the angle of the pictures. Anyway, thank you for sharing your lovely home. Angela

  2. Hey Jennifer! I always love your house tours and find something new to check out! I’m looking for curtain fabric, and I love your bedroom curtains. When I see photos of them in your room, they look blue and white. When I see a photo of the fabric, the background looks very ivory. Thoughts? None of the curtains from my old house work in the new house so I’m going to be sewing up a storm!

  3. Your site is one of my favorites! I'm a color lover also. No blah beige for me!!!

Your industriousness is inspiring and so happy for the links to most of the materials you use. Where did you find those fabulous brass ginger jars?? Such a great contrast with the blue and white ones.
