BOLD AND COLORFUL EASTER TABLE

Easter is right around the corner, and my table is set to share with you!  Pastels are typically the traditional color palette for Easter, but I'm sure you're not surprised that I opted for my favorite blue/green/pink color combo for a bold and colorful Easter table this year.

Let's take a better look at the centerpiece...

Blue and White Footbath  ||  Wooden Cross (gray stain added)

A few days ago I bought some new perennials to plant in my flowerbeds, but I thought I'd have them pull double duty and brought them in to use for my centerpiece first.  I used my large foot bath container and just loaded them all in!  I applied a coat of gray stain to this unfinished wood cross and hot glued a wood skewer onto the back to make a "floral pick" of sorts to add in as well.

I have a few of these white ranunculus perennials to plant, excited to see how they do in the beds and hoping I'll be able to cut blooms from them at some point.

I made a video as I assembled the centerpiece... so easy!  At the end you'll see that I started with a mossy cross pick but didn't think it showed up well enough so I switched to the wooden one.

(Side note- I love this shirt!  It's VERY oversized, size down at least one and you'll still have plenty of room!  And here's my pink watch.)

When adding the napkins, I started off with a standard pull-the-center-through-a-napkin-ring design, but then it occured to me that I could play with it and pull two points through instead of one to make bunny ears! I tucked in the lower edges of the napkin to make a rounded bunny body or head shape.

These candelabras have been stored for a while, I thought it was high time to get them out again!

I found these pink flocked rabbits at Marshalls a few weeks ago and we've had the little metal chicks for years.  They are so cute and have springs inside so their bodies wobble, always been one of my favorite Easter decorations since the kids were little!

We're looking forward to spending Easter with our family and celebrating the life that Jesus brings us because of His death on the cross.  We are made new and alive only through Him!  If you're local to Oklahoma City and looking for a church home, we'd love for you to join us for Easter services

I hope you have a blessed Easter season with your loved ones!
