January 2021 - Dimples and Tangles

FIVE FRIDAY FAVORITES

Happy Friday!  Here are some things that I've been loving lately and think you might too!

I'm super late to the Kindle e-reader game (I like turning pages!) but I bought one on Prime Day and had my husband tuck it away for my Christmas gift.  We took a little break at the beach last week and it was my first opportunity to pull it out, it's a game changer!  I love, love, love it especially in an outdoor setting where the light is super bright.  It's the paperwhite version so there is absolutely no glare and the screen is super bright in daylight, and it's waterproof so no worries there at the beach, pool, or in the tub!  It's also been great at night so I don't have to leave my lamp on while I read when he is asleep.  I haven't purchased one book- I check them all out through my library and load them up to Kindle.  I'm still sticking with paper books most of the time, but there are definitely situations where this has become a fave!

CUTE VALENTINE'S DAY FINDS FOR YOUR HOME, YOUR STYLE, AND YOUR TABLE

Since I shared this photo a while back I've had so many questions about where I got my sweater.  I bought it last Summer during our vacation in the mountains in the back clearance room of one of the souvenir shops.  I searched but could never find it online to share with you.  So, that led me down a rabbit hole of trying to find some similar ones!  And since it was so much fun finding cute heart sweaters, I continued down that rabbit hole to find lots of other cute heart Valentine's Day things for your home, your style, and your table too!

TOP TEN POSTS FROM 2020

Hey everyone, I can't believe it's been a month since I've seen you!  I took an extra long break through the holidays, some family events, and a nice little January family vacay before my son went back to college.  So, I'm easing into 2021 here and since I missed all of the year end festivities, thought I'd start there and share my top ten posts from 2020.  It's always fun- and insightful- to look back at these and see what you all enjoyed.

The first project of the year was wrapping up the Kids' Jack and Jill Bathroom Makeover.  This ended up being such a night and day difference from the warmer, darker colors that were in here before.  SO thrilled with how it turned out.
