BEST OF THE NEST LINK PARTY {7}

Well, you got an extra few days, so I hope you're ready to link up something fabulous for this month's Best of the Nest!

I actually accomplished several things in July, after a wash-out in June...darn Summer and vacations! ;)  The project I was happiest to cross off of my list was finally completing the makeover of my son's room, since it's been dragging on for a few years, literally!

(I know you're going to love these photos, but please click on the link below if you'd like to Pin.  Thanks!)

Kris shared some very helpful tips on making a bouquet of fresh flowers last as long as possible.  I found it especially useful for keeping hydrangeas in a vase, since I've never had good luck keeping them pretty and fresh for very long after I cut them.

Driven by Decor - Ten Tips for Creating a Beautiful Bouquet that Lasts

Lisa's up to her old tricks of magically transforming furniture and repurposed this normal little cart into a handy grilling cart for her husband to use when he's firing up the grill.  Then, she kicked it up a notch higher with the fabulous custom graphics on top.  I'll be right over for dinner!

Shine Your Light - Mark's Deck Cart

After bringing home 2 new accessories from Goodwill, Pam freshened up her entire living room for Summer!  I'm dying over the lamp she found, and am certain I would have arm wrestled her for it if we had been shopping together.  It's probably best we live in different states.  ;)

Simple Details - Summer Spiff Up

Has your July been productive, or are you soaking up every second of Summer?  I can't wait to see what you've been up to!  Link up your best project from July, and remember just a few things:

*Please make sure that your project is from THIS month (JULY).
*Only ONE link per person!
*Please link back to one of the hosts in your post.  Only those with a link will be considered for a feature!  You may include a text link or use the button below.

And finally, remember that if you're not a blogger you can link up through Instagram by using #bestofthenestparty and tagging one of the hosts: @jenniferdimplesandtangles, @lisa_shineyourlight, @pamsimpledetails, @drivenbydecor

I hope you all have a fantastic weekend.  We're painting the ceiling...fun!  (Not!)  Actually, I am really looking forward to it being done, though.  It's phase one of our huge painting project before we do the walls in a few more weeks.  I *think* I've chosen a color...
