DISH SOAP DECANTER {JUST ONE THING}

Today I've got another "Just One Thing" idea for you.  Remember, this series is all about quick, easy changes that you can do to make life just a bit prettier or easier!

I for one need all the pretty I can get when it comes to the kitchen, or more specifically to washing dishes!  To lighten the chore, I like to keep my dish soap in unique decanter bottles.  This one was a gift, but I have a few others from garage sales or thrift shops.  Normally I would leave the plastic bottle under the sink, but with a pretty container, I can't resist leaving something green out.  You know I chose the brand of soap based on the color!

Tall glass bottles with a spout on top are fairly easy to find for this purpose, but I like the small difference and little detail that old decanters make rather than the more common bottles.  Go ahead and add some fresh clippings from your yard and corral everything you need on a pretty tray while you're at it.

So, our Just One Thing is so quick and easy today.  Put your dish soap in a pretty container.  I promise it makes washing dishes ever so much more fun!

  7. What a great idea! I keep my oil in decanters, I'm definitely going to try this with my dish soap. It's a big step up from the plastic bottle :)

  8. Hi Jennifer! I spent most of yesterday afternoon visiting all your posts and was so inspired that I decided to bring pretty back into my home. (I was toying with minimalism and my place was getting blaah!lol) I was so inspired that I picked up a really pretty little dish at Target in gold and a candle tin in antique gold also. I've decided to bring gold touches back into my home after my visit. AND your style is right up my alley with the blacks/whites and bold hits of color! Thanks for an enjoyable visit with many more to come. Sincerely, Jeannette
