Our Kitchen

I'm working to add more to the "Our Home" tab on my home page, and today I wanted to share our kitchen with you.  I'm not going to say much, just show pictures.  In another post I'll tell you about the changes we made and give you all of the details.
Alright...get your scrolling finger ready...

And, here's a few before and afters taken from similar angles.  The before photos were from the MLS when the house was listed and show the previous owner's items.

Ahhh, the power of paint (and granite, and new appliances ;-).

Go here to see the remodel pictures and read about the changes we made.

  2. Fabulous transformation! Agreed, paint and 'vision' will go a long way!! Another great job!

P.S. I saw them in the background! :)

  3. One word: Stunning!

  4. Always lovely! It is amazing what a little paint (and some granite) can do! I love the shot where you see your curtains in the background! What a great view-everything flows together so nicely!

  5. Your kitchen is really beautiful, looking forward to the details. I especially love your choice in hardware. Take care, Laura

  6. Who doesn't love a beautiful transformation? Wow. Really so pretty, Jennifer! We went "dark" when we did our kitchen, but I really love this classy, fresh look, too. (I "need" a mansion so I can play out all the decorating styles I love! Ever feel that way? Lol.)

Can't wait to hear the "deets" on your kitchen. :)

  7. WOW! I love it. I love looking at the "before" pic. So much different. I love the floors, the backsplash, everything. Great job!

  8. I just found your blog through Pinterest and I'm SO glad I did! i just adore your taste and your gorgeous home. I can't wait to go back and see some more! Of course I'm a new follower!

  9. You must have had a magic wand! This is AMAZING! I'm so impressed!

    XO, Aimee

  10. Such a beautiful transformation! Just lovely ...

(Oh, and I am crazy for your painted fans!)

  11. Wow! What a difference! You've got some great cabinet space too. One regret I have is that we didn't put our microwave on it's own shelf or cubby - it's taking up counter space. You kitchen is really great!

  12. Wow! What a gorgeous transformation. I would kill for a kitchen like that ~ :-) You've done an incredible job in updating it.

  13. Beautiful transformation! Amazing what some paint will do for a room!

  14. I love before and afters! This is a great one. So many of us have the "cookie cutter" oak and tile kitchens to deal with. I never get tired of seeing ways to transform them! I did a similar re-do in our old house, although yours is way better!

Thank you for linking this up to "Cowgirl Up!".

  15. I love your new kitchen! It is so lovely! I am one of your newest followers. Hope you will visit me and follow me too!

  16. Wow, that is a fabulous remodel. It doesn't even look like the same kitchen.

  17. Loving this remodel! Thanks so much for linking up to Cowgirl Up! Hope to see you again next week!

  18. You did an incredible job of transforming this kitchen! It is BEAUTIFUL!
Looking forward to seeing more of your beautiful home as your newest follower.

  19. Such an amazing transformation. I am always amazed at how wonderful paint is. Gorgeous kitchen. I am your newest follower. Hugs, Marty

  20. Your kitchen is AMAZING. I hopped over here from the Centsational Girl discussion about inner/outer upper/lower. I think because you have full-wall cabinets, your only choice is inner/outer (like you have).

If you look at Kate's inspiration pictures, all of the kitchens that have full-wall cabinets went with the inner/outer look.

For what my opinion is worth, I don't think you should change anything. Just switch out some fun accessories if you're getting the itch to change something in that GORGEOUS kitchen!

  21. Love the ideas on renovating a kitchen. Thanks for sharing such an amazing tips! If you are going to renovate the kitchen you can also consider the splash glasses as kitchen splash designed to protect your wall from damage and scratches.Kitchen Remodeling Baltimore
