Easter Tablescape {x2}

We have a busy weekend ahead, enjoying Easter family activities on Saturday and then hosting my family for lunch on Sunday after attending Easter services at church.  Today, I played and got the tables ready for guests.  We will have 12 adults and 5 kids...lots of fun!

Dining Room Table {Natural Elegance}

I have some fabric pieces that kind-of look like burlap that I folded into runners and spread down the table.

The fresh flowers were the only things that I purchased for this table.  I really hope those lilies open up by Sunday for the perfect pop of pink!

The nests were a West Elm bargain from a trip to Atlanta.  I lightly spray painted some little plastic eggs and added them to the center.

Kitchen Table {Colorful and Playful}

I made some mini-poms and hot glued them to a skewer before sticking them in my dough-bowl-turned-grass-planter.  Cassie's Peeps Centerpiece was so cute I decided to add a few of my own.  There are also some little feather chicks sitting in a nest-you can't really see in the picture but there's a broken egg shell surrounding them...one of my favorite little decorations!

These little guys are my other favorite spring decoration.  The are similar to bobble-heads but their whole body bounces if you tap them.  So fun!

I had some tiny nests filled with chicks that I didn't know what to do with, so I dabbed a bit of hot glue on some napkin rings and stuck them on.  They will pop right off when I'm finished with them.

I haven't set the kids' table yet...not sure what that one will look like yet!

Happy Easter, Friends!  I hope you enjoy the time with your family.  We look forward to celebrating Jesus, our Risen Lord!  He is Risen!  He is Risen indeed!

  3. Ahhh thank you Jennifer! We have almost the same headcount - 12 adults and 6 kids - and I'm trying to figure out the tables. Thanks for all your lovely ideas - your tables both look fabulous. I love the dining room with the pop of blue and the nests, and the centerpiece on your kitchen table is adorable. I am going to do the peeps on skewers too, I love that idea! (Other than that I have no idea what I'm doing :)

    Happy Easter to you and your family my friend!
