2022 CHRISTMAS HOME TOUR | LIVING ROOM

Well, Merry Christmas everyone!  We're close enough that I might as well go ahead and wish you the Merriest Christmas.  I know my family is pretty much in holiday mode already, how about yours?  And, I think I'm officially the worst blogger for your Christmas decorating inspiration since this is the latest Christmas Tour ever- ha!  I was honestly still decorating the tree and putting finishing touches here and there around the Living Room yesterday morning.  So, I hope you relax, take your time, and soak up my last Christmas tour of the year, and pin away so you'll have plenty of ideas ready for next year!   This year I wanted my Christmas decorations to have a classic, vintage, homey feel.  I moved away from the super bold colors that I've used the past few years ... that's not to say there's not still plenty of color, I just used some softer colors in my palette this year even though I still incorporated bright red and my classic greens.  I've mentioned th...

2022 CHRISTMAS HOME TOUR | DINING ROOM AND BREAKFAST NOOK

Happy Friday, I can't believe we're just 9 days away from Christmas!  I'm so excited to share more of my Christmas home tour with you today, I hope you enjoy this peek at the Dining Room and Breakfast Nook.   I wanted my decorations to have a collected, vintage feel to them this year with some plaid in the mix too! I parted from  my super bold hot pink that I've used for the past few years and focused on more traditional red and green this year, but with a softer pink and plenty of other colors still in the mix as well. I gathered up a variety of trees and arranged them for a centerpiece layered on a table runner and strip of wrapping paper... my favorite trick to bulk up a runner or just add some color and pattern.  And an added bonus, clean up is a breeze! You all might remember the collection of houses I thrifted a few years ago and sprayed them a variety of colors, I just pulled a few of the red ones out to use this time.  I used mercury glass candles holders for sm...

AFFORDABLE GIFTS FOR HIM

If things in your family work like they do in mine, they guys are often the hardest to buy for.  My guys rarely shop for clothes on their own, so they are generally happy to find new outfits and shoes under the tree!  I still have a good chunk of shopping left to do, so I spent a bit of time looking for things to round out my husband and son's gifts. I found some stylish, affordable men's fashion gift options that I thought you might like seeing too!  Texture Stitch Sweater   ||   Dress Sneakers Texture Stitch Sweater  ||   Dress Sneakers The hottest trend over the past few years: the "shacket" + the hottest fabric this season: corduroy = a great combo for layering!  Corduroy Shacket   ||  Casio Watch   ||  Zip Cargo Pants I'm fairly certain that Caleb has had some form of a Casio watch since he was in Elementary School.  Safe to say they are a fave!  Both he and Ray particularly like this style as well as the one included in the graphic below.  It's on sale ...

2022 CHRISTMAS HOME TOUR | PORCH AND ENTRY

Hello everyone, and welcome to Part 2 of this year's Christmas Home Tour!  Today I'm sharing my Front Porch and Entry with you.  It's been really cloudy, moist, and rainy here in Oklahoma but it sure is starting to feel festive for the season around here anyway.  Settle in and enjoy the tour today! I'm so excited to be participating in the 2022 Christmas Home Tour today hosted by Marty from A Stroll Thru Life .  If you are visiting from Eleanor Rose Home I'm so glad you're here!  Heidi's tour charmed my socks off... so cozy and inviting!   Let's start off on the porch today.  It has looked similar for the past few years but I changed a few of the colors and the ribbons this year, and pulled an old sled out of the attic.   (*I'm still working on adding more details and sources for this tour but wanted to go ahead and get it posted. Please check back shortly if you have questions or feel free to leave on in the comments!) I'm totally smitten with ...
