PERSONALIZED FAMILY PHOTO CHRISTMAS CARDS FROM MINTED

Are you gathering the family for your Christmas card photo this weekend?  We recently received our custom Christmas cards from Minted, and I'm thrilled with them!  I haven't sent cards out in several years but knew I didn't want to let one more pass without doing that.  I saved a few photos from our big family trip to Hawaii this Summer, and when I saw this black and white plaid design with gold foil accents I immediately knew it was the right one for us!  (And if you're family or a friend who receives this in the mail, will you please act surprised?  Ha!)

Minted could not make it easier to design your own holiday cards.  Don't miss the COOLEST feature when you're choosing your card... when you're on the holiday card browsing page, look for the green button close to the top left that says "USE MY PHOTO".  Upload one of your family photos and it will automatically put your photo into all of the cards that you're browsing!  You'll know immediately what each design will look like with your family photo in it, then you can customize further once you choose a design.  Genius!

One more tip that I used earlier this year for my son's graduation card and again on our Christmas cards... if you're wanting to add text and photos to the back of your card there are several choices given within most templates.  However, I couldn't find the exact template that I wanted so I made my own.  On the back of our cards I chose a template that had an option for two photos, then in my photo editing program I created a "text image", typing the text I wanted and saving it as a jpeg, then I uploaded that as a photo into the Minted template.  Hope that makes sense and is helpful!
