I literally just set up my Fall porch for this year yesterday, so I'm calling it my Thanksgiving Porch! I was tempted to not even decorate it for Fall this year, but I'm hosting Thanksgiving this year so I wanted it to look seasonal.
I've had in mind for a while that I wanted to put some branches in my urns this year and go from there. My ferns are usually still going strong this time of year so they stayed put and I just added in around them. I loosely stuck with the blush and brown colors that I used inside this year, but added some orange in as well since I bought a bunch of real pumpkins to line the flowerbeds across the front of the house.
I've had these grapevine pumpkins forever so I nestled them in along with a faux pumpkin sprayed this blush color, a few faux orange pumpkins, and some sugar pine cones. I wired what I could to the branches (that are shoved down in the dirt). I'm hoping that everything stays put- ha! Today is nice and windy in Oklahoma so I guess we'll put it to the test.
I've had this wreath base for longer than I can remember. I added a few pheasant feathers and tied on some bells, then made my first attempt at a "John Mark" loopy bow with no rhyme or reason using bits and pieces of ribbon I had on hand.

I bought these felt headbands with the Thanksgiving crafts at Hobby Lobby last year, they're so fun for the lions! The orange pumpkins were feeling a bit to orange-y 😂 so softer colored bows on top helped tie them in a little better.
Pumpkins I mentioned lining the beds- thank goodness for $3.99 pumpkins at Aldi! Our deer out back love the treat when we're done with them for the season, so it's a win/win.
Honestly, it's not my favorite Fall porch I've ever done, but I like it just fine for a little something different. As much as I love bright, bold colors for Fall decor, a piece of my heart still loves the traditional Fall colors too.
