HOW TO MAKE A GIANT BOW {TUTORIAL}

This has definitely been the season of the big bows in my home.  BIG bows!  I made 3 versions that I used when decorating for Christmas, and 2 of those are pulling double shifts for Valentine's Day, so I'd say they were worth the effort!  Today I'll share my tutorial with you of the process I used to make my giant bows.  I'll start by saying my bows were all inspired by a bow that John Mark made for his shop and posted about last year.  He did a great video tutorial that you can watch on IG that I followed almost exactly for the paper green plaid bow that I made first. I didn't document my process of making that one since I just followed his instructions.  I used the same idea but switched up a few minor things here and there for my porch bow and Christmas tree topper bow, but the basic process is the same!  For the green plaid bow, I just used wrapping paper that I had on hand.  Definitely make sure you're using a thicker, heavy duty paper if you......

How to Make a Bow {Video Tutorial}

Good Monday morning, friends!  Hope that you all enjoyed your weekend.  We attended a couple of fantastic concerts, Christmas parties, and spent Saturday morning partaking of doughnuts and the Muppet Movie.  Manamana! Today I wanted to show you how to make a bow for a wreath, swag, package, outdoor decor, or wherever you need one.  It really is simple once you get the hang of it, just takes a little practice. I started off taking lots of pictures of the process, but decided it would be easier to demonstrate in real life.  So, I made my first video...please excuse  all of the "um"s, "but"s, and "anyway"s! DIY BURLAP CHRISTMAS TREE TUTORIAL

Hi friends!  Thank you so much for all of your kind comments on my Home Depot Holiday Style Challenge project !  Today I want to share how I made the ruffled burlap trees.  When I received a huge roll of natural burlap, a few Christmas garlands, floral picks, and ribbon in my mystery box, it took a little brainstorming to figure out how to use those supplies to decorate my mailbox.  But, after a little collaborating over the phone with my smart sis, we came up with the idea to use all of the burlap to make a pair of trees to flank the mailbox.   Believe it or not, 100% of the supplies I used came from The Home Depot, and it's all held together with zip ties.
