But they had painted all of the living room cabinetry and wainscoting bright green plus the two giant bamboo light fixtures. My mom (Donna Wight) and I went, and several times commented that these designers were decorating just like you have (bold green, pink candlesticks - literally looked like they had re-created from your tutorial blog post, bamboo, black and white, etc)! We decided you're a trendsetter even for the local professionals!! :) Jeanette S.https://www.blogger.com/profile/04700738062524796139noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7500450738339997116.post-58057908847665173532016-09-20T18:48:14.757-05:002016-09-20T18:48:14.757-05:00Looks great, but I'm afraid I might tire of it...Looks great, but I'm afraid I might tire of it quickly! Though, and island or a pantry cabinet painted in a saturated color might not be a bad idea since it will be quick switcheroo once you tire of the color. While it is undeniably stunning, it is too dark for my taste. The ceilings, walls and EVERYTHING are painted dark green. I would be trying to cook with a flashlight in my pocket in there! I like a lot of these you have shown because we all love your green china cabinet. You should look at the kitchen on Addicted 2 Decorating blog, too. When we were renovating our kitchen, I painted my island turquoise. I love it! I'm a fan of bold colors in a home rather than just beige, brown and gray. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7500450738339997116.post-10318357669539920042016-09-20T09:32:24.455-05:002016-09-20T09:32:24.455-05:00A few friends (and I think our cabinet guy. HA) thought I was crazy when I told them I wanted to use Sherwin Williams "Dill" as the color for our boys' bathroom when building our home 1.5 years ago! It was the best decision ever and is the perfect pop of color in that small space. Your green china cabinet was actually part of my inspiration!! LOVE. http://sandimcclain.blogspot.com/2015/12/home-sweet-home-cades-room.html

I love it in a kitchen as well and had we not chosen grey for our kitchen, I would have definitely went with something like Lindsey @ White Buffalo Styling Co! Love her style and she's actually helping one of my dear friends in Greenville, SC. I can't wait to see what they come up with for her new living room design!
