IF YOU MISSED IT {JANUARY-MARCH}

At the end of last year I shared our Best of 2016 post, so I skipped wrapping up the year with a monthly review.  Now, the first 3 months of 2017 have gone by in a flash so I thought I'd take the opportunity to catch you up on the highlights if there's anything you've missed.

I live in Oklahoma City, so my husband and I took a little day trip and shared a tour of the Pioneer Woman's Mercantile with you.  It was so fun to see this gorgeous building in person!

I found a vintage crystal chandelier and we installed it in the Dining Room.  I took the opportunity to also share a current complete source list for the room.

We love our little furry family members, but not so much when they scratch on the furniture. I showed you my super easy and quick trick for how to fix snags and pulls in upholstery fabric.

I found some sources for a few of my favorite things in my house and shared how you can get a similar look.

My blog pals and I are loving our My Five Favorites monthly series and hope you are too!  Here are the themes we've done this year so far.

On a personal note, my son turned 16 in January, and we had a blast celebrating him.  We're so proud of the phenomenal young man he is becoming!

Spring has sprung in our home!  I did a mini-makeover in the Entry with a new rug and styled the space three different ways, and later shared a more complete Spring Tour.

You all seemed to really enjoy this post where I shared some pages from a classic Southern Living book that I purchased at an estate sale.  It amazed me how many of the designs would still be current today even though the book is almost 30 years old.

We had a ladies event at our church a few weeks ago, and I showed you these simple ice cream sundae party decorations that we used for the centerpieces.  They would be so cute for an ice cream party theme, too!

Sometimes when there is no budget or time for a big makeover, freshening up a space with a few new accessories can do the trick!

Lastly, after "finishing" the room almost 2 years ago, I made a few tweaks for a Master Bedroom Refresh.  I *think* this room is finally where I want it to be!  :)

  1. Oh Jennifer, you are just so talented and it shows in every post. Can't wait to get to Oklahoma to go to the Pioneer Woman's store. It looks a little like Anthropologie with a country flair. :)

  2. I LOVE that sweater you are wearing in the pic with your fur babies (I must have missed it first time around). Where did you get it?

    1. Thanks! It was from H&M last year. They had a similar version this past year. You might still be able to find it on their website.
