IF YOU MISSED IT {OCTOBER REVIEW}

Well, we made it!  Happy Friday friends!  I think everyone is ready to bid this week farewell with all of the havoc that Sandy caused.  My thoughts and prayers are still with those affected by the storm.  Hoping things get back to some sense of normal soon!

Ray & I have a day or so to ourselves with the kids spending the night at grandparents, and then we're going to try to snap a few good family photos on Saturday.  It's supposed to be gorgeous in Oklahoma this weekend.  How can it already be November? Something more important to ponder...52 days until Christmas!  Yikes!

If you're new around here, here's a few things you might have missed from October.

(clockwise)
Sneak Peek of my {almost} finished dining room host chairs-you get to see the real thing next week!
My son's room-in progress
Bold Black and White Silhouette Art
Master Bedroom Re-do begins with a fresh coat of paint!

A quick craft for Fall: Faux Copper Planters, my Fall Decorations
and our front porch with painted pumpkins decked out for Fall

And, we made some great family memories in October!

Fall Break in Branson and Silver Dollar City

"Faster Than The Pastor" 5K run and the boy learned how to use an ax!

Halloween-We're pretty low-key with Halloween.  Caleb went to the middle school carnival at the church as a baseball player.  Emily was a pogo jumper.  She came up with the idea on her own.  She's giving me the "thumbs-up" while jumping with no hands, and she's even plays soccer in the back yard on her pogo stick!  I'm telling you, there's some real talent here! :)  And, one of Em's best little friends who had the whole ensemble-including personalized name tag-to be a Sonic Carhop.  She kept getting orders as we trick or treated all night!

I really am loving Instagram!  If you want to follow me there, I'm at Jenniferdimplesandtangles. Would love to see you there!
